Day 5, Palatka to Deland.
Day 5 of our adventure, a 65 mile run up the St Johns River from Palatka to Deland, we started at first light, passed thru the Buffalo Bluff Railway Bridge, then on to cross Lake George...back to the river and passed Astor and the river narrowed and became more winding and very scenic. We pressed on to Deland and the St John’s Marina where we overnighted and met up with my cousin Mark and Stephanie, had a great dinner and they joined us for the cruise the last day to Sanford and Monroe Harbor Marina.....but that is the next entry........
